Hello everyone! :) How are you all doing? It's finally September! There are so many things to look forward to once September starts: it's the start of the "-ber" months, which in Filipino tradition heralds the start of Christmas season! Yeah, we know Christmas is still months away but we always like to have a long Christmas, don't we? ;) September is also my birth month and I'm turning 25! Wow, time flies by extremely fast, huh? But I believe that with age comes wisdom. But more about that in a later post. :)
The start of September also marks the start of my Psychiatry rotation. I'm having mixed feelings about this particular rotation. This is supposedly a chill rotation, with lots of time to catch up on paperwork or reading (if you're that hardworking). On the other hand, whenever we do get patients, they're usually toxic and in the middle of a psychotic episode in the ER. Oh well, you can't have everything anyway. I'm just thankful to be typing this blog entry in the comforts of the bed in our call room. So what are my other group mates doing?
We kicked back, relaxed, and ordered Bon Chon for dinner. There has been a mass food poisoning incident somewhere and people are coming in droves in the ER downstairs. We might help out if we wouldn't be too much of a nuisance there.
